Land, Buildings, & Real Estate, Stanford University
The Land, Buildings and Real Estate Department (LBRE) at Stanford required a new website to represent eleven departments. Each department provides a wide range of services across campus including capital planning, project management of all construction, real estate holdings and more. In addition, the departments each have mission critical forms and documents that need to be accessible via the website.
Due to LBRE's long term goals include enabling department managers to update their own content the Drupal Content Management System was selected. Wired Moon configured a multi-site installation based on the Zen theme.
Visual Design was particularly important for this client due to the large number of departments. The client wanted a unified look and feel while allowing each department to have individuality. To solve this challenge, we presented a design that included the same user interface for each department while calling them out individually by using different colors for each department.
