Chris’s career in internet development and video spans more than twenty-five years. She has deep expertise in media development, e-learning, and website development. Her passion in web work — whether designing an e-commerce or educational site — lies in creating successful web strategies that support the goals of the organization and site users.
Prior to founding Wired Moon, Chris was the Director of Business Development for Bright Wire, Inc., a high-end design house in San Francisco. Chris also served as the Director of Learning Technologies for Human Code, an interactive development company, and as a Manager of Client Relations in Learning Services at Sapient, a large San Francisco business and technology
consultancy.
Chris also co-managed Stanford MediaWorks, part of the Stanford Center for Professional Development (SCPD) at Stanford University. At MediaWorks, Chris served as Executive Producer of more than 50 major websites and interactive projects at Stanford, several of which won major industry awards. She also produced a wide range of documentary and informational video programs. Chris was a Lecturer in the Stanford University Continuing Studies Program, where she taught a number of courses on creating successful web strategies and qualitative user research.
Chris received her B.A. in Studio Art from Scripps College of the Claremont Colleges and has completed extensive coursework for her M.F.A.
